Avoiding Sweets As Treats
One of the hardest things that parents find difficult to do is stop or reduce the amount of sweets there children eat. They can be given for various different reasons, as a treat if the child is being good, if they are trying to bribe the child to behave or as a way of stopping tantrums and crying when the child is demanding them. The alternative of course is to give healthy food such as fruit, raisins etc. but most of the time it’s easier said then done. One way is to suggest alternative treats to sweets, some kind off present or something they like to do such as go to the park instead.
