Different Types of Milk
With so many different varieties of milk on the market sometimes its hard to find which is one to go for. When learning about healthy foods and diet if you are trying to cut back on fat then full fat pasteurized whole milk can be swapped out for semi skimmed or skimmed milk. This generally has only 1% fat and on average over the week this can mean you cut your saturated fat levels by 27g. however it’s worth remembering that for children only whole milk is recommended. From when a child is one years old they can start drinking normal cows milk as part of there diet as you start weaning them off formula.
